Scent & Emotion

Scent can affect everything. From performance & behaviour, through to mood & relaxation.

It’s a learnt response. For example, a new odour is experienced during a visit to the dentist. This smell will trigger an unconscious emotional response such as anxiety. When you come across this smell again, it will trigger that same conditional, emotional response.
